When creating that new account, you will enter a username of your choice, and
your own password. We suggest you use something like your name as your username,
and a combination of letters and numbers for your password. When you create
your new account on this site, if you use and verify the same email address
that is already registered with us, our site will automatically assign your PageStream
registration numbers to your new account. However, if your email has changed, you will
simply need to enter the registration numbers and product passwords by choosing
Add Previous on your Profile page here.
Once a product's registration number is added to your account on this site,
all available downloads that you are entitled to will appear automatically
on the Downloads page here.
In the near future, new customers wishing to purchase a copy of PageStream
will need to first create a new account. Similarly, existing users wishing
to upgrade will need to have the registration number added to your new account
so the site can properly calculate your best upgrade discount. In either case,
once the order is completed you will have immediate access to the new downloads.
Until the new order system is up and running, we will still have to enter your
order in by hand, but if you provide your account username in the order we will
update your account here for you and you will be able to download within a short
period of time after ordering.

Translations,
Language Modules, Hyphenation Exception and Spelling Dictionaries
We have completed our work on
a new method of providing translations that are usable
on any platform. All translations marked as "Yes" or
"Beta" are currently included in all 5.0 and 4.1.6 and later
releases. Those marked "Available" are in Alpha stage
and need a native speaker to take a look at them. To use an existing
translation, or to translate PageStream to another language,
take a look at the file Readme.Localizing.txt in the program
download archive.
Most of the languages listed
in this table already have a language module in PageStream
that controls localization of open/close quotes, date, time,
and other document variables plus general hyphenation rules.
To create a new language module, a relatively simple text file
is edited.
The hyphenation exception
dictionaries and/or spelling dictionaries are provided
in .zip format, and can be used with all the PageStream platforms
(Amiga, Linux, Macintosh, and Windows). Just download these files
and decompress the contents into the SoftLogik/Engines folder.
The American spelling and hyphenation exception dictionaries
are in the standard PageStream installs, but are included here
as well for completeness.
