| 2006-08-23 - Misdirected EmailsHi,
Over the last few weeks we have noticed a significant reduction in emails.
I just figured it was everyone out enjoying the last of summer. Well, late
last week we noticed emails people where responding to on the lists that we
didn't see the original. So, some testing and investigating led us to
confirm that a large number of emails were not getting delivered. No
errors, just not delivered. I have been working with our ISP yesterday on
this matter and it seems that approx 3 weeks ago they moved us to a new
server. Seems that a number of things went wrong. The bad news is that we
had over 7000 emails that did not get delivered. The good news is they are
on the old server and they should all be downloaded. The ugly is that we
now have a large amount of email to wade through and our email is still
being delivered to two different locations. That latter of course is not
for us to solve, but we do have to live with it until it is.
So, expect to see a barrage of emails from me over the rest of this week,
and forgive us for any unusual delays.
