OK. I've updated the developer section to include documentation on IFF DOC (and related) formats. The IFF CTAG stuff is what you are looking for. If anything is not clear, ask and I'll try and clarify (and possible update the IFF DOC documentation .

Dah. There is one. Actually two. GETCOLORS and GETSTYLETAGS COLOR. Doesn't help with the color info, but it does get you the list of names.
I'm adding GETSTYLETAG and GETSTYLETAGDATA calls.
