Greetings Deron & All,
Open a 'New' document from the Navigator. Apply a text box from the vertical toolbar. Load the "Lorem Ipsum" text from the 'Text' drawer. All is well so far.
The text loads as "Artistic Regular" however the "Edit Palette" will not reveal this nor will "Type -> Font" although maybe it is not intended to do so at this point.
I change the font for a couple of paragraphs. When the text cursor lies within a 'new' font, the 'C' guy in the "Edit Palette" reads
Font <Mixed> or Font Triumvirate-Normal
and the cycle gadget simple cycles between the above and is not related to the actual font.
By the way, mimicking what I have for Pagestream 4.1.5.6, I went into
File -> System Preferences -> Fonts...
and set things up so that it reads:
Installed font folders Fonts/Bitstrea Vera Fonts/Intellifonts Fonts/SoftlogikFonts Fonts/StandardFonts Fonts/StudioFonts
However, I've got
5.Workbench:> assign fonts: exists FONTS Workbench:Fonts + WorkageStream/SoftLogik/Fonts
which points to the 'old' fonts that reside in the directory for PageStream 4.1.5.6.; i.e., 'WorkageStream/'. I'm assuming this is okay!?!?!?!? This results in a mess of fonts when one proceeds to "Type -> Font" but not nearly as many as I have when using Pagestream 4.1.5.6!!
On saving the modified "lorem ispsum" guy to RAM and the opening it again, the 'new' fonts show up although nothing showed in the "Font substitution" window, and, as usual, 'Done' was chosen. So 5.0.2.9 seems to SAVE and then OPEN the files that it creates properly. Very good! )
Cheers Don (Green Dragon)
