I see that your web site no longer has the 5.0.3.1a version for the
Amiga 68K posted?

Does that mean you're about to upload the next beta version?

I hope, I hope, I hope.

Dan,

I did download it, but after it started it gave a requester that said something like "Can't find SoftLogik/Printers/?.rsc"

There are no .rsc files anywhere on my Work partition.

Where my question mark is there was a square. Is that a file that can be downloaded separately?

The second issue was that although I could open a new document, I couldn't open an existing document without it requiring or causing a reboot.

This is under WinUAE running on an AMD 64-bit running under Windows XP 32-bit.

I haven't had a chance to try a different download and do an MD5SUM on each, as we've had several power outages in the last few day.

At least 4 different thunderstorms (we rarely have any thunderstorms in the Spokane area) in the last 2 days.

Thanks.

Dave

Correction on that. There was a PostScript.rsc and Bitmap.rsc file
in the Printers directory.

Should there have been another rsc file?

Yep. I have those as well. The requester complained about the lack in the SoftLogik/Printers directory.

Resource files are crossplatform and I can say all I have in
SoftLogik/Printers is Bitmap.rsc and PostScript.rsc

You indicate your '?' in the path is a place holder for a square. That
indicates a character not present in the font and I would expect is an error
(meaning, the path is spurious).

We in Cleveland are having more than usual number and severity of
storms. Can Al Gore be right?

Unfortunately, I still can't get it to run on my A1200 Sad It still
crashes requiring a reboot, just as the "personalise" window appears.

I tried to get a Snoopdos log but surprisingly, it crashes way before
the personalise window. So, what I have is a log number 1 which is
from starting the program until it crashes, and a 2nd log which is
from the point that the "OK" button on the initial screen becomes
active.

Can you let me know if they will be useful & where to send them?

Thanks.

mmm, following up on my own post, I've made an interesting
observation.

The initial screens are showing up on my workbench, instead of it's
own screen (as AmiPGS4).

When the front screen is active (OK is not ghosted), I can actually
use the RMB and see the menus at the top of the screen. I can actually
choose and get the preferences screen up, or the navigator screen, but
there is no further response. I then have to reboot.

I hope this helps! I'd love to use PGS5Pro on my miggy as well as the
PC.

He may not have convinced your Supreme Court about who should become the next
president of the USA, but about the data in "An inconvenient truth" he is dead
on.

i defined "ll" as an alias to "ls -l" - so it is actually "ls".
"ls" ist part of the sdk - sort of a unix "list" command.

Thanks for the explanation. Smile
