It turns out to not quite be that simple. I finally got everything listed by C:Assign assigned to the right things in the drawer where I hid my old OS4.1(.0), but there's some kind of snag.
Namely, clicking on the PageStream5 icon has no effect whatsoever. Typing "run PageStream5" in Shell gets a new process indicated, but nothing else happens; even if I leave the "run" out, control is returned to the shell, and I can repeat the command with no "PageStream is already running" message.
I wrote "specialstartup" a bit at a time, and during that time started PageStream5 two or three times with no trouble. I seem to have finally made some assignment that makes it impossible to start the program. I wonder what it could be.
I guess I'm back to using the OS4.1 install disk as SYS: when I want to do something with PageStream5, but at least that works. I have to create and mailmerge a little flyer by Monday.
